This series, draws from a variety of sound sources; specifically, recordings taken from the natural and built environment in Tokyo and Sao Paulo, interviews, and other abstracted audio fragments. Sometimes, I have shaped sounds using Max/msp; other times, the tracks focus on two main ideas – 'playing' with vocal utterance/meanings, or simply recontextualizing abstracted sound.
